Point Cartwright – a new perspective
Point Cartwright – a new perspective
January 17, 2019
I’ve spent many days on the sunshine coast, from Bribie Island, Caloundra and right up beyond Noosa, but today I ventured to a spot I really should have been to before. The southern side of Point Cartwright. Josh and I organised to meet up, so I just plugged it into google maps and this is where I ended up. Needless to say it was a stunning spot (as most are on the Sunshine Coast) and it delivered.
We met up just before dawn (around 4:50am these days) and made our way to a sheltered little spot on the rocks to wait for the rise. There were a few people around fishing, heading out for a surf, and one young dad with his daughter.
When we finished up at Point Cartwright we took a short drive over to Mooloolaba to take some photos of the action on the beach and grab ourselves some brekky and coffee from C&K Coffee Bar & Wholefoods. So good! So good that I forgot to take a photo!
